About Campus Tech

Who We Are

Campus Tech is an independent tech review site for college students. We started it because most tech review sites are written for people with unlimited budgets who upgrade their gear every year. That's not how students work.

We focus on the things that actually matter for student life: battery life (will it last through your full class day?), weight (is it killing your back?), value (is it worth the money when you're on a student budget?), and longevity (will it hold up for 4+ years?).

How We Test

Every product we review, we buy ourselves. We use it as our daily driver for at least one week before writing anything. We test battery life at realistic screen brightness levels, not the "minimum brightness, Wi-Fi off" conditions manufacturers use.

We're not in the business of giving everything 4+ stars. If something isn't worth buying, we say so.
